DJ Lora is not your stereotypical DJ
Having inherited a love of music from her father – Olympian, stuntman, singer and one of the first owners of Ibiza’s superclub Manumission – Lora set about learning her trade as a respected club DJ, carving out her reputation as one of the most exciting disc-spinners around.
With celebrity fans ranging from Sir Paul McCartney, Pete Tong, Will Young, Ralph Fiennes and Simon Le Bon – who personally booked her for his 50th birthday party – Lora is the DJ of choice for the most exclusive private parties around the world.
The soul female entrant in the Movida Corona DJ competition, since winning, Lora continues to bring glamour and style to the decks. Enjoying residencies and one-off shows in London, Dubai, Paris and Miami, Lora also finds the time to pass on her skills as a leading teacher; successfully running an exceptional DJ school in the heart of London to great acclaim.
An innovative producer, Lora has also composed tracks with The Artful Dodger, created radio pilots for the BBC and is currently helping to establish the all female super House group High on Heels along with fellow female DJ Miss Kelly Marie.
DJ Lora has recently been making waves on the Formula 1 scene after playing at several parties on the high profile racing championship calendar. She is exclusively signed for F1 weekends to ‘Amber Lounge’, the elite pop-up club run by Sonia Irvine, the sister of former F1 driver Eddie Irvine. In 2011, she played at the prestigious Monaco GP to celebrities including Kim Kardashian, Taio Cruz and Matthew Williamson and also at the Singapore Grand Prix in September.
Super friendly and passionate about all things related to music, above all, Lora is an exceptional role model for females wanting to break into the male heavy club world.
